Be it as a Band of Misfits, or in an Adventure with Scientists Aardan’s The Pirates! are almost at our shores and there’s a firm sense of anticipation for this film.
Everything we’ve seen so far (and we’ve seen a lot) leads us to believe that not only are we in for a decent seafaring rollick through Pirate lore but it comes with the trademark Aardman wit and incredible attention to detail.
Dave had the chance to visit the studio and his Behind the Scenes report is below, but Yahoo movies have another peep behind the animator’s curtain which includes some new footage and interviews with cast and crew.
It looks great fun, and Aardman know what they’re doing without a doubt, so expect a fun time in a few weeks when the film is out on the 28th of the March 2012.
