This Friday (13th April) sees brand new horror movie Truth or Dare hit both US and UK cinemas. The film sees Lucas (Tyler Posey) and Olivia (Lucy Hale) take on what seems like a harmless game of Truth or Dare with their friends when something or someone begins to punish those who tell a lie or refuses to take on the dare!
Our very own James Kleinmann got to chat with both the leads who told him about their love of horror movies growing up, what it was like appearing in two different versions of a Scream movie / TV series, how they accomplished that very creepy grin that we’ve seen in the trailers and which part of the movie was their favourite to shoot.
Truth or Dare is written and directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick Ass 2) and produced by the legendary Horror genius that is Jason Blum (Get Out, Paranormal Activity to name but a few)). Tyler Posey & Lucy Hale Interview
Plot: Olivia, Lucas and a group of their college friends travel to Mexico for one last getaway before graduation. While there, a stranger convinces one of the students to play a seemingly harmless game of truth or dare with the others. Once the game starts, it awakens something evil — a demon which forces the friends to share dark secrets and confront their deepest fears. The rules are simple but wicked — tell the truth or die, do the dare or die, and if you stop playing, you die.
