Lionsgate Films UK has, this morning, debuted a new trailer for ‘The Personal History of David Copperfield’ before the film opens the BFI London Film Festival.

Based on the Novel by Charles Dickens, the film is directed and co-written by ‘The Death of Stalin’ filmmaker Armando Iannucci.

Its charm is enhanced by the perfect cast of Dev Patel, Peter Capaldi, Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Ben Whishaw and many more recognisable British actors that make this movie a warming delight.

Just last month we were out at the Toronto Film Festival where the cast and filmmakers came together for their world premiere and we were on the red carpet to pose a few questions.

The Personal History of David Copperfield Synopsis

From birth to infancy, from adolescence to adulthood, the good-hearted David Copperfield is surrounded by kindness, wickedness, poverty and wealth, as he meets an array of remarkable characters in Victorian England. As David sets out to be a writer, in his quest for family, friendship, romance and status, the story of his life is the most seductive tale of all.
