Guy Ritchie’s particular brand of cockney crime caper came to the capital yesterday for the UK Premiere of The Gentlemen. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant.

It has been a few years since the big screen saw the likes of Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver and Rocknrolla, but a dalliance with Disney hasn’t dampened the director’s cinematic panache. We spoke to Ritchie, Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery and find out the origin of Hugh Grant’s cockney accent.

Colin Hart and Zehra Phelan braved the cold to red carpet the stars and ask the questions.

The Gentlemen is out in Wednesday, 1st January 2020.
