There’s a distinct lack of compassion in modern society, and it’s this very notion that was the topic of conversation when we sat down with director Anthony Woodley, and actor Ivanno Jeremiah to mark the release of The Flood.

This moving drama focuses in on the journey on a refugee, played by Jeremiah, vying to start a new, safer life on British soil, and his subsequent interview process with the hardened immigration officer (Lena Headey) who stands in his way. We discuss what it was like filming amongst real refugees, and why people in the UK, and America for example, are finding so little empathy for these poor people fleeing their war-torn countries in a bid to survive. We also get on the subject of Game of Thrones, as not only does this film star Headey and Iain Glen, but Jeremiah has landed a role in the forthcoming prequel…
