The last couple of weeks have been trailer-tastic as we go into Summer. All the big studios want to show off their new and upcoming movies in front of the big movies during the reason which is why HeyUGuys has been littered with trailer after trailer over the past few weeks. Last week we had The Dark Knight Rises and today it’s all about Spider-Man!

Here’s the latest in the form of The Amazing Spider-Man which is directed by Marc Webb and sees Andrew Garfield take the leading role as Peter Parker alongside Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and with no doubt a cameo from comic book legend, Stan Lee.

We can expect the movie to hit 4th July 2012 and this is our first proper looks at what we can expect! Enjoy!

  1. Looks absolutely phenomenal. So pumped for this film. Loved the first 2 Spidermans in the original arc, but only for the storyline and supporting cast, Tobey was an awful choice for Peter Parker. Andrew will wipe the floor with him. Looks like its sticking close to the source material so expect a lot of teenage angst. Awesome. (or should say, Amazing?)

  3. I am loving it! It gives me a whole different feeling about it! However I must say I don’t like the CG at the end…it is very weightless and reminds me a lot of “Mirror’s Edge”. I am assuming the effects aren’t finished…

  4. Agree that the CG for the POV stuff looks unfinished, but we’re talking 12 months until release, so plenty of time to work on it. It might even just be samples for the sake of the trailer that won’t appear in the film. I’m sold. Seriously.
