It may appear as a warm, genial family adventure flick, but when you scratch beneath the surface, Tom Harper’s The Aeronauts is a grittier tale, one of survival and our ability to maintain hope in the face of adversity. Out now in cinemas across the UK, back at the London Film Festival we were fortunate enough to sit down with the film’s leading duo Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne, in what is their first collaboration since The Theory of Everything.
