Sony Pictures Classics have released the official trailer for Take Shelter.
Directed by Jeff Nichols (Shotgun Stories), Take Shelter stars Michael Shannon (The Runaways), Jessica Chastain (The Tree of Life), Shea Whigham (Machete) and Katy Mixon (Drive Angry).
Plagued by a series of apocalyptic visions, a young husband and father (Shannon) questions whether to shelter his family from a coming storm, or from himself.
Take Shelter, which will hit US screens on October 7th, won the Grand Prix award at the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival, and picked up a hefty number of rave reviews in the process.
