Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ offering fans a look at Peter Parker’s next adventure following the events that changed his life forever.
The new footage teases a darker and more personal story for Peter, who continues to fight crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers who he is. While he remains committed to protecting New York City, the emotional toll of seeing his former friends move forward without him begins to take its toll.
As Peter struggles with isolation and the consequences of his sacrifice, a new transformation emerges within him, one that he may not be able to control. However, that same change could prove to be the key to stopping a terrifying new threat threatening the city and the people he still cares about.
The trailer also introduces a mysterious and powerful villain unlike anything Spider-Man has faced before. According to the film’s synopsis, this dangerous new enemy possesses an unsettling ability: no one can even see them.
While the world may have forgotten Peter Parker, he has not forgotten the people he loves, setting the stage for an emotional and action-packed chapter in the beloved superhero franchise.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
