Bruce Wayne

Bruce Wayne

At a tender 75, the ‘Caped Crusader’ is often at the epicentre of the age old argument of what factors determine if an individual can be given the tag of a ‘superhero’.

Bruce Wayne may have his coveted batsuit, the ability to fall with style and a plethora of mind-blowing gadgets, including shark-repellent spray, but is essentially a businessman with training and a mansion-load of money.

The unique factor in this case is not just Batman’s ability to cleanse the streets of Gotham of crime but also the idea of the economic heroics of Bruce Wayne touched upon in the Christopher Nolan trilogy. We see Wayne fund an orphanage in his beloved city as well as attempt to provide a clean source of renewable energy.
