The popular Disney+ series Single Drunk Female returns this week with an eagerly anticipated second season, and to mark this joyous occasion, we had the pleasure in speaking to the leading star, Sofia Black-D’Elia. We discuss the evolution of her role Samantha, and where fans can expect to find her in this second series. On the subject of fans, she talks about interactions she has had when it comes to this show. Finally we look back on her career as a whole, as it’s been nearly a whole decade since we last caught up with the talented actress, and so saw this as an opportunity to reflect – and look forward too, of course.

Synopsis
With a year-and-a-half of sobriety under her belt, Samantha Fink (Sofia D’Elia) finally feels like she has a life worth celebrating. However, Sam quickly learns that sometimes life has other plans for her. Sam must figure out how to effect change where she can, sit in her discomfort when she can’t, and maybe even enjoy the ride.
