Arnold Schwarzenegger might have been absent from the first teaser trailer for The Expendables 3 – although he’s present in name, and will star in the movie – but he takes centre stage on the first poster for David Ayer’s Sabotage.
Previously titled Breacher and Ten, the film sees Ayer return to the world of action following last year’s acclaimed End of Watch.
The red-band first trailer landed online just a few weeks ago, and now Open Road has launched the first poster, via IGN.
An elite DEA task force deals with the world’s deadliest drug cartels. Specializing in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – until someone begins assassinating them one by one.
Joining Schwarzenegger for the ride is an impressive ensemble, led by Joe Manganiello, Mireille Enos, Olivia Williams, Sam Worthington, Max Martini, Terrence Howard, and Josh Holloway.
Ayer is directing from a script by Skip Woods (Hitman, A Good Day to Die Hard), with Woods also producing alongside Joe Roth (Oz the Great and Powerful, Snow White and the Huntsman).
Sabotage will be hitting hard in the US on April 11th, 2014, before arriving in the UK two weeks later on 25th April. For now, here’s the first poster, which you can click through to enlarge.
