Rye Lane is a deeply joyful film. It’ll sit in cinemas at the end of this week with various multiplex blockbusters and earns its place with a wonderfully vibrant look at love and destiny.

We had the chance to speak with director Raine Allen Miller and leads Vivian Oparah (Class, The Rebel) and David Jonsson (Industry, Deep State) who star as Yas and Dom, two twenty-somethings both reeling from bad break-ups, who connect over the course of an eventful day in South London – helping each other deal with their nightmare exes, and potentially restoring their faith in romance.

Linda Marric sat down with the leading duo and their director to talk about how their chemistry, so important to the film’s success, was created, the distinct look of the film and so much more.

The film will be in cinemas from 17th March, 2023. Here are the interviews.
