After 10 strong at the forefront of bringing film scores to life with a live orchestra and numerous film composers, the Royal Albert Hall is showing no signs of slowing down as they have proved with the announcmentof their line-up for 2020.
Next year’s orchestral spectacular includes seven titles that will include music from ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi’, ‘Superman’, ‘Titanic’, ‘The Matrix’, ‘The Terminator’ and ‘Brassed Off’ as well as the long-awaited return of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ featuring music from ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’.
The line-up will feature special guest appearances – ‘The Matrix’ Live will be conducted by original composer Don Davis, while ‘The Terminator’ composer Brad Fiedel will participate in a pre-show Q&A, and ‘Brassed Off’ Live will feature appearances by stars of the film.
The Hall’s Films in Concert series began in 2009 with ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’, and has sold over 500,000 tickets to date.
