The cast of The Flash were at WonderCon this weekend to talk about what’s to come in the final few episodes of hit DC Comics series, and a new trailer has been released featuring plenty of intriguing teases!
The Reverse-Flash is the focus, with the mystery of Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne continuing to play out.
However, we also get a glimpse of Grodd, the psychic gorilla (it’s not as silly as it sounds, honest!) who many fans believe will be the lead villain in season two. We also get to see a kiss between Barry and Caitlin, some very strange behaviour from Eddie Thawne, and a look at Brandon Routh’s Atom taking flight in Central City.
Interestingly, The Flash can also be seen fighting alongside Firestorm and The Arrow. The latter in particular looks very different. Could it be that Oliver Queen accepts Ra’s al Ghul’s offer and joins the League of Assassins? It does look that way, but it’s strange to give something like that away in a trailer, so don’t be surprised if there’s some sort of twist. With time travel involved, that could have something to do with it.
