In arguably one of the most exciting casting additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, it has been revealed today that Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is in talks to join the already massive cast of Avengers: Infinity War (and the untitled fourth instalment).

There’s no news on who he’s playing, but it’s said to be a “key role,” so the possibilities are endless. On Twitter, fans are already speculating that he may have been cast as M.O.D.O.K., Pip the Troll (a close ally of Adam Warlock), The Living Tribunal, or even an ally of Thanos.

We’ll have to wait and see, but with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 shooting back to back over the summer, Dinklage has a gap in his schedule thanks to Game of Thrones changing its production due to the shorter episode count and HBO having to wait for winter.

Pretty much every actor from the MCU will appear in these movies, including Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Joe and Anthony Russo are directing, and the first part is scheduled to be released next May with the finale then following in 2019. Story details for both are being kept under wraps, but Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will be taking on Josh Brolin’s Mad Titan!

With any luck, we’ll get some more casting news for Avengers: Infinity War very soon…
