There have been rumblings lately that we’d get a new look at Justice League before the end of 2016, and this may very well be it! As you can see below, an incredible new shot has been released featuring Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) standing side by side as they stare down an unknown threat. Steppenwolf, perhaps?
If you’re a fan of the comic books, you’ll know that “The Trinity” is Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, but with the Man of Steel M.I.A. for a big chunk of Justice League, it seems like we can expect the Fastest Man Alive to take his place for at least a little while here.
“Flash is Ringo Starr,” Miller (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) says. “He annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone.” As for what the Scarlet Speedster thinks of his teammates, the actor delivered a fairly blunt assessment!
“Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s had a long life of fighting crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.” How these iconic heroes interact promises to be a lot of fun, and more from Justice League will hopefully be revealed soon.
