Daniel Craig reprises his role once more as the iconic James Bond in Skyfall, and with the release just two weeks away here in the UK, Sony’s campaign has been gearing up brilliantly in recent months.

All we’ve seen from the film so far is enough to convince us it’s going to be one of the best films of the year, and now a new clip has emerged online in which Craig introduces himself to new Bond girl, Sévérine (Bérénice Marlohe), in the classic fashion.

“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Craig heads an all-star cast, joined by Javier Bardem, Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Whishaw, Albert Finney, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Dame Judi Dench.

Sam Mendes, the Oscar-winning director of American Beauty, is making his Bond debut behind the camera, with a script penned by Bond frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and the ever-brilliant John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).

Skyfall will be released in regular and IMAX theatres on 26th October in the UK, before heading across the Atlantic for an 8th November IMAX release, a day before going wide on 9th November. For now, here’s the great new clip to tie you over. Enjoy.
