Set to be one of the biggest animated films of next year, Monsters University brings to the big screen the prequel to Pixar’s Oscar-winning 2001 film, Monsters, Inc.

We caught a fantastic first teaser trailer over the summer, and now the film has unveiled a fully-interactive website for the fictional university, allowing visitors to take a tour of the campus and student life, take a look at what courses are on offer, as well as purchase merchandise from the store.

“Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”

Dan Scanlon is behind the camera this time around, with the beloved duo of John Goodman and Billy Crystal reprising their roles in the voice cast, alongside Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Tilly, Kelsey Grammer, Frank Oz, Ken Jeong, the classic John Ratzenberger, and the brilliant J.B. Smoove.

Monsters University is set for release in the height of summer next year, coming out in 3D on 21st June, 2013 in the US, followed by a 12th July release here in the UK. For now, here are a handful of the new images teased by the website, which you can head over to here. Enjoy.
