BAFTA Rising Star Mia McKenna-Bruce (How To Have SexPersuasion) has been cast to lead as ‘Bundle’ a young, determined sleuth in ‘The Seven Dials Mystery,’ the new Agatha Christie series for Netflix.

McKenna-Bruce joins Helena Bonham Carter (One Life, Nolly) who takes on the role of Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman (The Responder and Black Panther) as Battle.

The series is set in England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.

The Netflix series is penned by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall (BroadchurchDoctor Who) executive produced by The Crown executive producer Suzanne Mackie through her company Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman (Good Omens). Chris Sweeney (The TouristBack to Life) will direct.

Chibnall will executive produce the show through his company Imaginary Friends and James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited is also an executive producer on the series. Andy Stebbing is on board as an Executive Producer and Joanna Crow continues as the Series Producer.

The project will begin filming this summer.
