It looks like the new turtles movie is going to be penned by the same guys that brought us the first Iron Man film, I’m talking about Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.
The new TMNT film is being produced by Platinum Dunes for Paramount and, if all goes according to plan, this film could be in production as early as next year. It all comes down to how good the script is and when the director is signed on.
The Iron Man writers also brought us Punisher: War Zone and have established themselves as relatively solid (super)hero writers. I personally feel relatively confident that they will do justice to the original personalities of the cartoon and will hopefully keep some of the flair from the original film. From what I understand this will be a live action movie which I hope will also utilize complete body suits instead of CG. That would make me really happy.
