The day has finally come where Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave hits UK cinemas. It’s had raving reports by pretty much everyone and has been nominated in every awards ceremony going. We’ve already heard from Director Steve McQueen and now it’s time to hear from leading man Chiwetel Ejiofor.
He talks to James Kleinmann about how he’d never heard the story before hearing about the movie and how surprised he was about that. Ejiofor also talks about how he find his place to play Solomon Northup and how did researched playing the real man and working with the up and coming Director who previously brought us Hunger and Shame.
