If you’re familiar with Tarsem Singh’s next film, Immortals, you’ll know that it’s something to look forward to this year. We got the first trailer for the film back in April, and it was pretty awesome. Most recently, we’ve had another fantastic new trailer, and plenty of excellent stuff in between.
Those nice folks over at MTV Movies have started a new weekly piece in the run-up to the film’s 11th November release this year, called “Immortals Mondays,” which is as it says on the tin, and this week, they’ve given us a great still of Henry Cavill in the lead role of Theseus to share with you.
If you’ve seen any of the trailers and TV spots for the film, you’ll probably have already had a good look at this still in them already. And if not, you should be excited by the awesomeness of the image. His bow and arrow looks brilliantly fantastical, and I can’t wait to see it properly in action next month.
Immortals has a great cast that Cavill is heading up, alongside Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans, the upcoming The Three Musketeers), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), John Hurt (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy), and Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2). With just over a month to go until its release, we’ve not got long to see Cavill in action with this epically-named and legendary Bow of Epirus.
