8. Lady Stoneheart
Lady Stoneheart – who is the resurrected Catelyn Stark – has yet to appear in Game of Thrones, and based on comments from those involved with the series, this is one pretty major character from the books who they’ve decided doesn’t have a place on the small screen.
Now that no one is expecting Lady Stoneheart to appear, season six is the perfect time to bring her back, even if it means a few more changes are made to the source material along the way.
Recent rumours have pointed to this happening anyway, and with The Mountain back in action down in King’s Landing, we know that resurrections like these ARE possible in this version of Westeros. End the premiere with this, and everyone will be talking!
