On the day that the real creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg issued a press release announcing that they have broken the barrier for 350 million members (!!!), the first photos from the movie based around the social networking super-site have been released through JustJared.com.
The photos only show Justin Timberlake walking through some scenes with a lovely N-Sync style haircut but it’s always nice to see a movie getting underway. Timerlake plays Sean Parker (the co-founder of music website Napster) who in the real world advised Zuckerberg on the creation of FaceBook. Might see if I can get him to come along and give HeyUGuys some advice as 350 million readers would always be nice!
The Social Network is based on the book, The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal by Ben Mezrich (author of Bringing Down the House which was then turned into 21) and it should be with us some time in 2010. It’s directed by David Fincher.
