Seems to be the week for scary trailers. Following on from the Maniac and Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters trailers, we get to see a new one for the Evil Dead remake and it’s really rather horrific! Makes the other 2 red band versions look tame!
This is the sort of movie that will give me nightmares therefore I probably wont go and see it but I’m sure many of you will! Sam Raimi has produced the remake of the 1981 classic which stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci and Elizabeth Blackmore.
Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez and will be released in the US on 12th April, and it will be with us in the UK on 19th April.
“In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
