This week sees the release of Da 5 Bloods on Netflix, and to mark the occasion we had the absolute pleasure of speaking to the immensely talented cast & crew. Of course that meant we chatted to the one and only Spike Lee, to discuss the feature as well as his thoughts on the ongoing #BlackLivesMatter movement, which he believes is a ‘revolution’.

We then spoke to the four lead roles, pairing up Delroy Lindo with Clarke Peters, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. with Norm Lewis. As with so many of Spike Lee’s productions, the film comes equipped with a profound socio-political undercurrent, and given what is happening in the world today, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, our conversations led us towards the significance of what is going on, to make for three fascinating interviews.

Watch all three interviews, in their entirety, below:

Synopsis
