We recently brought you some very interesting details about Suicide Squad (you can find them by clicking here), but a new report possibly sheds some light on exactly what kind of role Batman will play in the movie.
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Take this with a pinch of salt, but Ben Affleck will apparently make a cameo appearance at the end of Suicide Squad following The Joker’s escape from captivity. In this DC Cinematic Universe, it’s believed that Jim Gordon was murdered by the villain before the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Whatever the scene entails will set up Batman’s planned solo movie, which will also be heavily influenced by Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. In that, Batman faces off against The Joker, and the Gotham City Police Commissioner is a woman called Ellen Yindel. That will also be the case in this movie apparently.
All of this obviously makes for an interesting read, but we’ll have to wait and see for the time being!

In other Batman v Superman news, the image below has recently surfaced. It apparently hails from a t-shirt given out to those who worked on the Zack Snyder helmed movie, and offers up our best look yet at the armoured Dark Knight as he heads into battle against the Man of Steel. Needless to say, it looks very cool!
