The Amazing Spider-Man hits the big screen tomorrow, and I can’t tell you much I’m looking forward to seeing it – and I’ve already seen it!

Sony have put together a brilliant ad campaign that we’ve all been enjoying in recent months, and now the time has finally almost come for the film to be released, and things are looking good – a few markets in Asia have had an early release this weekend, with the numbers topping m., getting the summer blockbuster off to a brilliant start.

Following all that we’ve seen already, the studio have released this awesome new hi-res image from the film, seeing Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in action, doing what he does best.

I remember exactly which scene this is from, and can guarantee you’re going to love it – it is simply immense, both the scene and the entire film.

Marc Webb is of course behind the camera for the reboot, with the lovely Emma Stone starring as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curtis Connors / The Lizard, alongside Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, C. Thomas Howell, Irrfan Khan, and of course Stan Lee himself.

“The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.”

The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D tomorrow! So make sure you catch it on the big screen as soon as humanly possible. It’s awesome – that’s all you need to know. As usual, you can click the image to enlarge. And just in case you need any extra convincing, I’ve added the latest four-minute super preview below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
