Here’s the first advert for the newly announced iPad 3 (or simply iPad if you want to follow the company line) which was unleashed onto the world yesterday in the latest Apple presentation. To be honest, there’s nothing in there that we didn’t expect. The screen is now 9.7″, it’s going to have an A5X processor and quad-core graphics chip and a 3.1 million pixel display in 2048 x 1536 resolution in it’s new ‘Retina Display’.

The other main improvements is the new iSight camera which is similar to the one you’d find on the iPhone 4S and comes in at 5 megapixels and it also has connectivity improvements including LTE which will basically means it’s able to download data an awful lot faster than it’s predecessors getting it ready for 4G (which is available in part of the US but not yet here in the UK) which is exciting!

Battery life will be about 10 hours and it slightly heavier than it’s predecessor coming in at 0.63kg (1.4lbs). For those Apple fans who can’t help but buy the latest Apple products, this new iPad will be shopping from 16th March. Woopie!
