A couple of days ago, I put up the first of a series of video blogs focusing on the Production team at Aardman Animations Studios looking at their brand new feature film The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists. The previous video looked at the lip-sync or ‘track breakdown’ by Chris Stock who must be the most patient man on the planet! Today, it’s more of an arty look with Jonny Duddle who walks us through his job as ‘Character Designer’ on the movie.
In the Vlog, Jonny tells us how a character can develop over time and how he cannot get too attached to the characters that he draws ans literally any aspect of that character can change. Yet again, Aardman show us what amazing and talented people they have working for them.
