We present our interviews from the TIFF premiere of the Misters Rogers biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood starring Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Chris Cooper, Wendy Makkena, Enrico Colantoni, Tammy Blanchard, Susan Kelechi Watson, Sakina Jaffrey and Maddie Corman. The film was directed by Marielle Heller from a script by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster.

The film premiered at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival, and here are the interviews from the red carpet.

Two-time Oscar®-winner Tom Hanks portrays Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. After a jaded magazine writer (Emmy winner Matthew Rhys) is assigned a profile of Fred Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, learning about empathy, kindness, and decency from America’s most beloved neighbor.
