1. John Stewart
The chances are that we won’t see either Hal Jordan or the actor who played him (Ryan Reynolds) return in the role of Green Lantern after the critical and commercial failure of the 2011 movie. So, why not go for one of the other human Lanterns, specifically the one who developed a huge fan following thanks to a starring role in the Justice League Unlimited animated series? As an architect and veteran U.S. Marine, this seems like role tailor made for an actor who has found such great success playing a similar type of character in the Fast & Furious movies. Stewart is haunted by some of his past actions, and recent movies like Snitch and Pain & Gain have shown that Johnson is more than capable of delivering a layered and emotionally complex performance necessary for a character such as this one.
