5. Lobo
Last year, it was reported that Dwayne Johnson would be playing Lobo in a movie from the director of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. It since seems to have been put on hold, but it’s also perhaps the most likely candidate for the project that the Fast & Furious star was referring to. For those of you unfamiliar with the character, he’s a violent motorbike riding galactic bounty hunter who wiped out every other member of his race – on the planet Czarnia – for a high school science experiment and then gave himself an “A”. With super-strength and a healing factor, the sadistic and vulgar anti-hero also happens to have a personal code of honour and never breaks his word! Needless to say, the potential is there for a movie which could either be very good or very bad, but with Johnson in the role, the former option seems far more likely.
