Kick-Ass 2 is currently filming in the Toronto a few days ago and from the looks of things, filming on location is rather difficult with all the people wanting a glimpse of the stars. Here’s some footage taken with by one of those people which gives us our first look at Jim Carrey who plays Colonel Star in the sequel to the Matthew Vaughn directed 2010 movie.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson returns as Kick-Ass with Chloe Moretz back as Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Chris D’Amico / Red Mist. The first movie was so fantastic and fresh, it’ll be interesting to see if they can make this sequel follow on without making it feel contrived but from what I’ve heard about the Mark Miller graphic novel, it’s set to shock a few people along the way!
Kick-Ass 2 is set for release summer 2013 and is directed by Jeff Wadlow.
