Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for the highly anticipated third season of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,’ teasing an epic new chapter as Sauron’s quest for absolute power threatens to plunge Middle-earth into darkness.
Set five years after the fall of Eregion, Season Three finds Middle-earth engulfed in war. Sauron’s armies have marched across the world, conquering everything in their path, leaving only a handful of strongholds standing between the Dark Lord and total victory.
Deep beneath the mountains, the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm remain sealed within their halls, while the Elven realms of Lindon and Rivendell cling to their defences, protected by the power of their Three Rings.
Meanwhile, in Mordor, Sauron has completed his formidable tower of Barad-dûr. Working tirelessly within its dark walls, he becomes consumed by his ambition to create a weapon capable of bringing his remaining enemies to their knees: the One Ring to rule them all.
As Sauron’s power grows, the free peoples of Middle-earth must find a way to unite against an enemy determined to dominate all life.
The new trailer showcases the scale of the conflict ahead, with the peoples of Middle-earth preparing for a desperate struggle against Sauron and his growing army of Orcs.
Among the most chilling sights are the Dark Lord’s terrifying Ring-servants, the Nazgnagôl, clad in black armour as they roam the land. Elsewhere, the Elves struggle to hold the front lines as tensions rise, while familial bonds among the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm come under increasing strain.
Political turmoil threatens to tear Númenor apart, with rival factions pushing the island kingdom towards the brink of civil war. Far to the east, in the mysterious lands of Rhûn, Gandalf draws upon the full extent of his magical abilities and powers of persuasion in a bid to turn the tide against the approaching darkness.
With Sauron closing in on his ultimate goal, the battle for Middle-earth looks set to test the alliances, loyalties and courage of everyone standing in his way.

The first four episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season Three will premiere on Prime Video on November 11, 2026.
Episodes five and six will follow on November 18, with the final two episodes arriving on November 25.
