Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looks nuts. By this we mean typical Luc Besson nuts – all he needs is a girl and a gun.
Besson is returning to the world of sci-fi with his take on writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières’ most famous creation Valérian and Laureline. Casting Chronicle’s Dane DeHaan and woman of the moment Cara Delevingne will certainly bring him a young audience, and from what we’ve seen so far the time-travelling elements will be measured by some good old fashioned gunplay.
