Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg made a huge impression last year with This Is The End, marking their first feature at the helm, and they’re back at the end of this year with their sophomore feature, The Interview.

James Franco and Rogen jointly anchor the comedy, and with just under four months to go before it hits cinemas across the Atlantic, Sony has launched the first teaser trailer and poster, and they’re every bit as brilliant as you’d expect.

In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.

Lizzy Caplan and Randall Park star alongside Franco and Rogen.

Rogen and Goldberg co-direct from a script they co-wrote with Dan Sterling (South Park, The Office).

The Interview will be released on October 10th in the US and 29th October in the UK.
