Sky and Peacock have revealed the full trailer for the upcoming Original 10-part series of ‘The Day of the Jackal.’

Alongside the teaser, a set of first-look images featuring Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch and Úrsula Corberó, gives audiences a glimpse at the highly anticipated modern reimagining.

The adaptation is based on the seminal novel by Frederick Forsyth and the subsequent award-winning 1973 film from Universal Pictures. It follows an unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.

Starring Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist) as Nuria, someone at the heart of The Jackal’s personal life, unaware of who he truly is.

Written and adapted by Ronan Bennett, creator and writer of the critically acclaimed Top Boy. Internationally award-winning Director Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones, Luther, Boardwalk Empire) is the lead director.

The series is coming to Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW in the UK and Peacock in the US on November 7th.
