Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot is an inspiring true story about a small, predominantly African-American community in East Texas that united to adopt 77 children in need, overcoming significant personal and financial challenges. Directed by Joshua Weigel, the film explores powerful themes of unity, compassion, and resilience, capturing the remarkable spirit of Possum Trot and its extraordinary residents.
King opened up about how her faith plays a central role in both her personal life and her acting career.
