The Avengers are so close to assembling, you can almost taste it.

We’ve been seeing such immensely brilliant things from the film so far – most recently with a brand new trailer at the end of last month – that it’s easy to imagine The Avengers being one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

To add to all we’ve seen already, we’ve now got four brilliant new character posters, via ComicBookMovie and Collider, with three focusing on Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America individually, and one an awesome shot of Hawkeye and the Hulk.

With Joss Whedon sitting in the director’s chair for this, directing from his own script, I can’t see it being anything short of amazing.

The next entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe will of course see all of our favourite superheroes from recent years will be returning, including Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr., with Paul Bettany returning as JARVIS), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo, taking over from Edward Norton), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

We heard last month that the title of the film in the UK had officially been changed to Avengers Assemble, and that news came with a new poster to show it off, and it’s from that poster that most of these character posters have been taken. But it’s always nice to get them individually, even bigger in size.

Avengers Assemble will be with us here in the UK on 27th April, before heading out to the US as The Avengers a week later on 4th May, and will be viewable in 3D and IMAX 3D. Essentially, this is going to be immense. For all our coverage of The Avengers / Avengers Assemble, you can click right here. And as usual with these great new posters, you can click to enlarge.
