With a stellar leading cast in the form of Zac Efron, Miles Teller, and Michael B. Jordan, That Awkward Moment will be heading into cinemas at the start of next year with plenty of fans to help fill cinema seats.
Efron of course is still well known for his early career, and has been building on that very nicely in more recent years. Miles Teller has been strong from the word go, and his performance in The Spectacular Now this year is fantastic. And Michael B. Jordan has made a real name for himself too with Fruitvale, and with word buzzing that he’s lining up to be The Human Torch in the upcoming The Fantastic Four, things are very much looking good.
So when you add the three of them together in a comedy, you can be sure that there’s going to be a lot of fun to be had, and the first red-band trailer that landed last week was encouraging. Its January release date is not far off at all now, and Focus Features has launched a green-band trailer over on Apple.
Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan star in the R-rated comedy, That Awkward Moment, about three best friends who find themselves where we’ve all been– at that confusing “moment” in every dating relationship when you have to decide “So…where is this going?”
Efron, Teller, and Jordan are not the only three to look forward to here, with an ensemble cast led by Imogen Poots, Jessica Lucas, Emily Meade, Addison Timlin, Mackenzie Davis, Josh Pais, and Alysia Reiner.
Tom Gormican is directing from his own script, making his feature debut as both writer and director.
That Awkward Moment is set to hit cinemas on January 31st, 2014 in the UK and US, and is shaping up to be a solid slice of comedy to kick-start the tail-end of the first month of the year at the box office.
