War Horse has been on stage in London’s West End for a little while now at the National Theatre (see video embedded below). The story is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo.
The First World War is the backdrop for this tale of bravery, loyalty, and the extraordinary bond between a young recruit and his horse.
Both Variety and Production Weekly have confirmed that Steven Spielberg will be directing the movie version of this tale which will be released (probably in the US) August 11th 2011.
