Ready yourselves fans of the DC comic book universe, for Stargirl is hitting out screens on Amazon Prime Video this week, and to mark the occasion we had the pleasure in speaking to Stargirl herself, Brec Bassinger. She was paired with Luke Wilson, as we chatted to the duo via Zoom.
We discussed the auditioning process for Bassinger in getting her hands on such a brilliant role, while Wilson discusses his character’s light relief within the show and how much fun he had taking it on. They discuss the progressive and authentic portrayal of family dynamics and on their previous relationship with the source material. Naturally, we couldn’t help but ask about any potential DC crossovers they’d love to see, and Bassinger tells us what it was like to celebrate her birthday on set…
