9. Kree-Skrull War
This isn’t a team-up or crossover in the traditional sense, but Marvel would need to reach out to Fox to make it a possibility. Why did we see the Chitauri in The Avengers instead of the Skrulls? Well, it’s because that alien race originates from the Fantastic Four comic books, a group of characters owned by Fox.
The Kree have been established as being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Guardians of the Galaxy, and while another alien race could take the place of the Skrulls, that would result in an adaptation of this classic story lacking a certain iconic element.
The Kree/Skrull War would be a great way to follow up Avengers: Infinity, but as a lot of that two-part epic will be taking Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into outer space, this one isn’t all that essential. It would still be nice to see however, so fingers crossed.
