7. Captain America/Wolverine
There was talk recently (it seemed more like speculation than rumour though) that as well as Spider-Man, Marvel Studios have their eyes on one of Fox’s characters.
When Fox’s Daredevil rights were about to end, Marvel offered them the chance to keep the character in exchange for Galactus and Silver Surfer, but they apparently refused to give up two prime Fantastic Four characters. It could be that Marvel still wants one of them, but we have to imagine that it might instead be Wolverine who they have their sights set on.
Going back to World War II and exploring an adventure that these two had together would be tremendous fun, especially as there were once rumblings that Hugh Jackman might have a cameo in Captain America: The First Avenger! A present day story could be good as well, but going back several decades is more appealing!
