Late last week, we put up some photos from the shoot of J.J. Abram’s second installment in the Star Trek franchise. After the first awesome movie, we’re all hoping for something great and with actors like Benedict Cumberbatch being brought into the fold to play the villain, we have high hopes.
Splash Online via 5Min have now released this new video from the same place that those photos were taken and it shows most of the main cast present during a sequence which shows Cumberbatch fighting Spock played by Zachary Quinto. We still don’t know who Cumberbatch is going to play but you can see our suggestions here!
Star Trek 2 is due Spring 2013 and also stars John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Noel Clarke, Alice Eve and Peter Weller.
