Sacha Baron Cohen, well-known and -loved/-disliked for the likes of Ali G, Borat, and Brüno, is returning once more with what is sure to be a brilliant and hilarious new comedy, The Dictator.

Along with Baron Cohen in the lead, we can look forward to a great supporting cast headed up by Anna Faris, Sir Ben Kingsley, John C. Reilly, Megan Fox, and J.B. Smoove.

Creating a new character in the form of General Aladeen, Baron Cohen’s latest film tells,

“The heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”

We got a new trailer for the film last week, and now a brilliant new international poster has made its way online, showcasing Baron Cohen in the eponymous role, with the NYC skyline behind him.

Larry Charles returns to work with Baron Cohen once more after directing Borat and Brüno, and he’s working from a script co-written by Baron Cohen and Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer (former Seinfeld and current Curb Your Enthusiasm writers).

The Dictator will be coming to the US on 11th May, and will head to the UK a week later on 18th May. It should be brilliant. For everything else we’ve seen from the film, you can click here. And as usual, you can click the new poster below to enlarge.
