Robin Wright is all set to reprise her role of General Antiope for Wonder Woman 1984. Although Antiope was killed off, Wright will be joining Chris Pine as Steve Trevor in returning from the dead for the sequel.

However, General Antiope’s return is looking like a more plausible one. She is expected to appear in a flashback scene with co-star Connie Nielson as Diana’s mother Queen Hippolyta.

Patty Jenkins returns to take the helm after the Super Hero’s first outing saw it take a record-breaking $822 million at the worldwide box office. Gal Gadot also returns as the titular superhero.

Joining Gal Gadot on the cast list is Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal who could possibly be playing Max Lord, a razor-sharp and powerful businessman who was a thorn in the side of the Justice League.  Chris Pine also returns from the dead as Steve Trevor.
