After we wrote this post yesterday lunch time speculating who Rhys Ifans may play in the new Spider-Man reboot, it was announced earlier this news comes in!
It was announce earlier this week that Rhys Ifans had been cast in Sony’s Spider-Man reboot as the lead villain, but no details were given as to what villain exactly he would portray.
TheWrap have since learned that Ifans will in fact portray, none other than, Dr. Curt Connors, aka The Lizard.
Sony’s reboot of Spider-Man will be directed by Marc Webb and also stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
A 3D release has been scheduled for July 3, 2012.
